1) Provide a safe environment and intervention services so women in crisis can find stability; 2) Provide services and programs that facilitate overall well-being and self-sufficiency; and 3) Provide a community of acceptance and support that encourages women who are disenfranchised to realize their individual and collective potential.

Our Shredding Facility

All document destruction is performed at our secure facility that meets the security requirement established by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). It features a gated security fence, alarm system and surveillance cameras.

About Us

The paper brought into our plant is emptied into a pit that feeds a conveyor that leads to an industrial-strength shredder. Our dependable, state-of-the-art, heavy-duty shredder destroys up to 8,000 pounds of paper per hour. The shredded paper is sent to a baler, where it is compacted and tied. The bales are transported to a paper mill to be recycled. Our industrial-sized facility allows us to be very competitive with our pricing. We also destroy and recycle other products such as plastics, computers, and hard-drives.

Last year, a percentage of the money spent at every event went to The Gathering Place. We helped raise over $5,000 to help women and children. This year, BarLympics is the main event that will support our fundraising effort. Join us on Saturday, October 22nd.
